Establish competency in diagnosing and managing medical disorders of the retina.
Provide tools necessary to master the interpretation of the different retinal investigations (OCT, OCT-Angio, FFA).
Lay solid foundations of vitreo-retinal surgery using the latest and most advanced technology (3D NGENUITY, Leica Proveo 8 microscope).

The vitreo-retinal fellowship is a unique opportunity for any ophthalmology specialist eager to excel their skills and knowledge in the field of the posterior segment. It is comprehensive, with exposure to a variety of cases medically and surgically. In addition to that, the investigations section is designed to help in mastering this subspecialty. There will be lectures and discussion meetings throughout the fellowship. Moreover, candidates will have the opportunity to attend clinics, participate in supervised patient care, and attend the operating room (OR). For the surgical training, the candidate will first be trained in the dry lab to get familiar with posterior segment surgeries.
